Delhi saw a hot weekend as the maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded two notches above average at 39 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast a cloudy Monday.
Monday is expected to have partly cloudy sky, said an official of India Meteorological Department, and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
The minimum temperature on Sunday settled a notch below average at 27 degrees Celsius, while the humidity wavered between a high of 72 percent and low of 43 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was 38.1 degrees Celsius - a notch above average - and minimum was 27 degrees, average for this time of the season.
