Leicester City coach Claudio Ranieri has piled on the pressure on rival English football club Arsenal ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash, saying that it will be a "disaster" if the London club does not clinch the title.

League leaders Leicester are five points clear of third placed Arsenal and they go into the game on the back of a 3-1 win over Manchester City.

"The pressure is on other teams. Arsenal have big pressure because Arsene (Wenger) spends a lot of money every year. We don't have pressure because we did our job. Our goal is okay - anything more is fantastic," Ranieri was quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror on Friday.

"People want to put pressure on us because at the beginning they said: 'OK Leicester sooner or later will drop, go down'. But now some people are thinking Leicester can win. It is important to put pressure on them because they spend a lot of money and if they don't win it is a disaster."

The Italian tactician kept on insisting that there is no pressure on his side, adding they would like to carry on their dream run.

"There is no pressure on us, there was pressure on us at the beginning to start well and to carry on and maintain our performance," he said.

"Now we are safe. Why we have pressure? If you put the ball in my area, tell me why I must feel pressure? We are close to continuing to dream with our fans and want to continue to dream - nobody wake us up please."
