Launching a scathing attack on the BJP, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Monday here said she will take the fight against its anti-people policies to New Delhi and will give a fitting reply "politically".
"People from across sectors must come together to protest against the centre. We will give a fitting reply to the BJP politically.
"Centre does not care for people. They only care about riots. We will give a fitting reply to the BJP politically. We will take people from Bengal to Delhi to protest against Centre's anti -people policies," Banerjee said at a rally here.
Banerjee's Trinamool Congress is facing flak in the wake of the Saradha chitfund scam and the Burdwan blasts.
Party MP Srinjoy Bose was Saturday sent to Central Bureau of Investigation custody for his alleged complicity in the Saradha scam.
Banerjee lashed out at the central government for its "divisive politics" and alleged the Bharatiya Janata Party is "misusing" the agency.
Hitting back at the BJP for failing to bring back black money, she demanded the record of expenses for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trips.
"We want account of all the expenses of the PM Narendra Modi's trips.
"Why have they failed to bring back black money? Why are they targeting us? Were BJP leaders sleeping when chit funds were set up in Bengal? Where is the Centre getting so much money for foreign trips? How are they financing the pompous shows at America?
"Why has the Centre not given a nod to our chit fund law yet," she asked.
