Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger on Wednesday said midfielder Jack Wilshere is likely to make a comeback from injury in their English Premier League (EPL) game against Sunderland on Sunday.
The 24-year-old has been sidelined since June last year but has trained well in the recent weeks.
"Wilshere is available from the next game (Sunderland) onwards," Wenger was quoted as saying by Skysports.com.
"He has absorbed his first obstacle well -- he was sharper in every game and has a good fitness basis. He has played three games already. Now, it is a case of do I select him or not."
Wilshere is also likely to also make the England squad for Euro 2016, with coach Roy Hodgson tipping him to be there.
Wenger also confirmed midfielder Santi Cazorla has returned to full training after being sidelined for five months with knee and Achilles heel injuries.
