Pop star Britney Spears and her boyfriend went shopping for a new puppy and the former fell in love with a $5,000 teacup Yorkie, named Micro Diamond.
The 32-year-old and Lucado went shopping Thursday at Star Yorkie in the San Fernando Valley area. They are expected to return to the pet shop to buy the puppy, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The pet shop's owner said the couple was friendly. She was in a great mood and seemed happy playing with the puppies.
"They left empty-handed, but I wouldn't be surprised if they come back for Diamond," the owner said.
Britney, who has sons, Sean, eight, and Jayden, seven, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, is an animal lover. She adopted a Yorkie and a Maltese from the same pet shop in the past.
