Barcelona, Jan 17 (IANS/EFE) FC Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez, who has missed the team's recent games due to a hamstring injury, has resumed training with the rest of the squad and is awaiting medical approval to play on Sunday against Deportivo de La Coruna.
Xavi was unavailable for the 18th round match against Atletico Madrid in the La Liga, as well as both legs in the Copa del Rey's knockout stage against Elche.
Brazilian forward Neymar, who injured his ankle during Barca's game against Atletico, also joined the team's collective training Friday, having reportedly recovered from the lesion.
After beating Elche 4-0, the Catalans trained Friday to prepare for La Liga's next game against Deportivo, which will be played at the Riazor Stadium.
