Yo Yo Tigers register second consecutive WKL win

Yo Yo Tigers registered their second consecutive win by defeating Royal Kings USA 58-54 in the 11th match of the Wave World Kabaddi League at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here Sunday.

Last week while Yo Yo Tigers defeated Vancouver Lions while Royal Kings USA lost to Lahore Lions during the Birmingham leg of the international Kabaddi league.

The quarter started on a balanced note with a flurry of attacks and counter attacks by both the teams displaying some amazing moves by the raiders at both ends. The first quarter was dominated by raiders leaving no scope for stoppers to ground them.

Gursewak Singh and Satish Khattar of Yo Yo Tigers were invincible with their pace, while Sohan Singh and Jaskaran Singh were the best of the stoppers grounding the opponent on few incidents.

The second quarter started on a very impressive note by successfully converting the raid into a point for Yo Yo Tigers.

Sandeep Kumar of Yo Yo Tigers won another point for the team in the second raid made by the team. Royal Kings USA were trailing in the first quarter by three points but they bounced back and scored few quick points by successfully converting their raids and stops.

In the 25th minute of the quarter Royal Kings USA's Harkirat Singh made an amazing stop and did not let the raider move a single step earning another point for the team.

It was a very intense quarter and Royal Kings USA completely took over and got one point lead over Yo Yo Tigers with a score of 29-28 on the scoreboard.

The third quarter started with an impressive note as both the teams gave tough competition to each other. The final quarter got more exciting as both the teams gave their best shot but Yo Yo Tigers just managed scrape past.
