Madrid, Aug 13 (IANS/EFE) Real Madrid Castilla coach Zinedine Zidane, who will soon start his second season at the team's helm, appointed his son Enzo Zidane as the new team captain.
The 20-year-old played last season in the ranks of Real Madrid C in the Third Division championship and capped eight matches with Castilla in Segunda B.
During his time with the C team, the French playmaker scored 4 goals in 26 games.
After the last three captains, Sergio Aguza, Derik Osede and Diego Llorente, left the team, Zizou has decided to place his bet on Enzo to wear the captain's armband.
Real Madrid Castilla aims to promote to Segunda B after a poor season and the departure of more than 40 players over the past summer.
