Former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy surprised passengers in a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus travelling from Kollam to Thiruvananthapuram last week. He hopped into the bus after he missed a train to the state capital. The 25-odd passengers on board chatted and took selfies with him. Chandy said he was riding a bus after a decade and promised he would take a bus more often, though he had no intention of planning ahead his journeys.
