A public sector bank has opened its local canteen for a major domestic news media organisation. The Kolkata-based bank’s zonal head office is in the same building as the media agency’s Mumbai office. So the bank decided to offer the same subsidised food from its canteen to the journalists as part of its corporate social responsibility project. The news agency could not be happier, but neighbourly bonhomie apart, the two institutions would always be professional in their approach towards each other, they agreed.
