Event organisers of the 45th International Film Festival of India found themselves in an embarrassing position when catalogues circulated to the media on Wednesday carried a message from Manohar Parrikar designated as chief minister of Goa. Parrikar, who was recently appointed the country's defence minister, unwittingly added fuel to this particular faux pas by telling his audience that he enjoyed being in Goa so much that he didn't "feel like going back to Delhi".
