Cyclone Phailin, which had brought India and parts of Southeast Asia to a standstill, somehow seemed to have bypassed the attention of a few MPs. Maybe these MPs don't read the papers or watch TV since the cyclone was closely tracked on both media. At any rate, the minister's secretariat returned a deadpan confirmation.
