Ramdev’s suggestions on bringing back black money stored abroad may not have found favour with the income-tax department, but his yoga lessons seem to be working. Recently when reporters asked an officer of the Central Board of Direct Taxes about the government’s next course of action on Ramdev’s demands, the official, instead of answering the question, resorted to the yoga guru’s prescription for hair loss — rubbing his fingernails against one another. And he kept it up through every question. Perhaps this helped him kill two birds with one stone — duck media queries on Ramdev and prevent any kind of hair loss due to the tension created by the yoga guru.
