Twenty four hours before presenting the Budget, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee took part in the debate on price rise in both Houses of Parliament. He termed it as an "out-of-the-box idea as FMs are expected to keep their mouth shut before the Budget". When he said in the Lok Sabha that he could not talk more as he had to speak again on Friday for his Budget speech, Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj quipped, "Pranabda, you don't need to talk now. You go and have a cup of warm coffee and keep your throat ready for tomorrow. We all want to hear from you on Friday."
