Now that he is the party's prime ministerial candidate, the Bharatiya Janata Party's lesser leaders are falling over themselves to heap the plaudits on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. At the recent rally in Rewari, Haryana, one leader compared Modi to Krishna in the Mahabharata, who would provide the country with direction; another disagreed and said Modi is Arjuna, who should now pick the bow and fight for the country.
