Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel was wearing a suit and a tie on the day of the customary group photograph of members of the Rajya Sabha. After the group photo, Patel took off the jacket and went to the Rajya Sabha to answer questions about his ministry. Seeing Patel with a tie without a jacket, BJP leader Arun Jaitley sent him a slip asking why he was dressed like a medical representative. Patel was quick to scribble, on the same slip, “After yesterday’s events (the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha), I may have to look for an alternative profession.”
