You were one of the few newspapers to recall Jayalalitha’s corruption cases. But there is one difference between the misdeeds of the AIADMK and DMK: corruption has progressed under the DMK from the tens of crores under the AIADMK to hundreds and thousands of crores. Tamil Nadu under DMK rule became a family-run state. It is not just the 2G scam but the visible growth of power and riches of the family in a short time that has struck the public. All of this is “with the best compliments of the dosing revenue officers” of the income tax department.
