Journalists crowded to get a quote from Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as he got out of Vigyan Bhawan where the prime minister held a meeting with various state chief ministers on the inflation situation. The rush was so great there was no place to stand, and even the guards in charge of hailing cars for dignitaries were nowhere to be found.

Information & Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni, who left at the same time as Modi, had no option but to go to the microphone at the hailing stand and call for her driver. Since the driver could either not hear or his car was stuck in the parking lot, she had to wait for 20 minutes.
