Until now, only the Congress had been busy ridiculing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s U-turn on its campaign promise in the run-up to elections in Jammu & Kashmir: "To end the dynastic rule of two families in the state." The BJP, bolstered by its unprecedented success in Jammu, has now been actively wooing those very same "families" - the Sayeeds of the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, and the Abdullahs of the National Conference (NC) - in its bid to be a part of the government formation in the state. NC's Omar Abdullah struck back - as usual, on Twitter. He tweeted a picture of a BJP hoarding in Sopore with that poll promise, captioning it "Soon forgot" - and adding a smiley for good measure.
