A war of sorts is playing out between the police forces of some Indian metros on social media. Senior officials of the Mumbai Police have boasted that the number of followers it has on Twitter is more than three times that of the Delhi Police, despite @MumbaiPolice joining the micro-blogging site two years after @DelhiPolice. @BengaluruCityPolice, however, is way ahead of them, with more than 140,000 followers, helping the metropolis live up to its tag of being the country's technology capital.
