The news of the fake currency haul gave Congress fresh ammunition to target the government, which had said the reason for scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes was to curb fake currency and terror funding. Ripping apart the current government’s Pakistan policy, Congress leader Manish Tewari said India has no enmity with the people of Pakistan but it is the deep state within which is inimical to our country’s interests.
