What was Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Ram Madhav doing at a meeting to review the co-ordination between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and government held at Nitin Gadkari's residence recently? The meeting was called as a routine interaction and RSS No 2 Bhaiyyaji Joshi, among others, was present.

There were some unspoken question marks about the presence of Madhav who has quickly become the eyes and ears of the prime minister at all such interactions. Madhav was originally not supposed to attend but was called to the meeting at the insistence of party President Amit Shah.
