Even as the BJP leadership is targeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister P Chidambaram over their alleged role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam, senior leaders are full of praise for Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee for timely alerting the PM about the scam. “Pranab Mukherjee is one of the best Parliamentarians and an expert on the Constitution and administrative issues. I remember, when I became an MP, I was told by L K Advani to keep quiet in Parliament when Mukherjee was speaking, because it would help me learn. Since then, there has never been a speech of Mukherjee that I have not listened to carefully. I highly regard him,” said BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad.
