Lead by example. Well, the Bharatiya Janata Party is taking this adage seriously after the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India campaign. According to data made available by Twitter, this year, four ministries made their debut on Twitter including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Railways. While the Ministry of Railways seems to be leading the followers count at 144,159 (as on December 9), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is the second most followed ministry on Twitter with 32,002 followers. Interestingly, the Ministry of Railways has more followers than actors Kajol and Twinkle Khanna and former Indian cricketers like V V S Laxman and Anil Kumble.
