Aiming to corner the Centre over the issue of demonetisation, the Congress will deploy former finance minister P Chidambaram, former deputy chairman of the erstwhile Planning Commission Montek S Ahluwalia, former Union minister Kapil Sibal and Delhi chief of the party Ajay Maken on Friday to come out with untold stories related to the note ban. They will highlight how the move hit the economy and made people suffer. The seminar has been organised by the legal cell of the All India Congress Committee headed by K C Mittal. The event comes a day before phase four of polling in Uttar Pradesh on March 4 and days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke highly of his demonetisation decision.
