BJP today used the accusations levelled by Aam Aadmi Party MLA Vinod Kumar Binny to attack Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government charging it with "compromising" with corruption and "duping" the people of Delhi.

The main opposition party also demanded immediate suspension of Law Minister Somnath Bharti arguing that a person who has been indicted for breaking laws cannot be the Law Minister himself.

Speaking at a press conference here, BJP state unit chief Vijay Goel claimed the way AAP has been functioning as "the B team of Congress" was today further confirmed by Binny.

"This government got 28 seats on the issue of corruption, they had associated themselves with the Anna Hazare movement and said we would run a campaign against corruption and will give corruption-free governance," he said.

Commenting on Binny's allegation that Kejriwal shares a "close friendship" with Congress MP Sandeep Dikshit, Goel said his (Kejriwal's) association with Sandeep Dikshit is proved by the fact that they have not even ordered an inquiry against the previous Sheila Dikshit government in "serious charges" of corruption like the Commonwealth Games scam, leave alone acting on them.

"Now, they are even asking us to bring evidence. It means corruption has been totally left out. It means that this government has totally compromised with corruption and the way it has been going on, there would be no surprise if they withdraw charges against Sheila Dikshit," he said.

The BJP chief said the people of Delhi should understand that they (AAP) have nothing to do with them, "they are here just to loot innocent people".

"Today their own MLA has proved that they take decisions behind closed doors. Four or five people finalized tickets for assembly elections and they are finalizing Lok Sabha tickets also. They duped people in the name of signature campaign, referendums as if everything is done after consulting them," he said.

Stepping up his attack on the Chief Minister, Goel said "he would be remembered as 'Ghamandi Kejriwal' (arrogant Kejriwal) instead of Arvind Kejriwal due to his style of functioning," he said.
