"On June 16, a minister brought a resolution accusing BJP and Left Front of complicity in Raidighi killings without any evidence or investigation," Left Front chairman Biman Bose told newspersons here. "They are trying to pass off the fall out of their internal bickering as attacks by opposition parties," Bose told a Left Front meeting.
"They (TMC) have been making wild allegations verbally, but making such insinuations in writing, that too in the Assembly, is unprecedented," he said. "We strongly protest this," Bose, also a CPI(M) Politburo member, said.
Bose claimed that Bimal Bhandari, a CPI(M) district committee member, was arrested and Kanti Ganguly, party state committee member, was named in the FIR on false allegations.
The Left Front would organise dharnas from June 25 to June 27 to protest alleged attacks and atrocities on its workers and supporters.
