Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is on his first visit to Kerala after being annointed BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate, today offered prayers at the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple here.

He also called on the head of Travancore Royal family Uthradom Tirunal Marthanda Varma.

Receiving him at the Kawadiar place, the Maharaja presented paintings of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple to Modi.
