Only Telco to provide PCOs, Laptop Charging Stations and Facilitation Counters to service customers at both Arrival and Departure
Bharti Airtel, one of the leading emerging markets telco, today announced the availability of its basic telephony and mobile services in Indira Gandhi International Airport’s T3 terminal which is expected to open soon. Through this initiative, Airtel has become the only mobile service provider to be associated with India’s biggest and world’s second largest integrated airport terminal. The services to be provided will include superior network connectivity enabling Airtel subscribers to be constantly in touch with the world, PCOs to make calls, charging stations to charge laptops , and facilitation counters which will offer telephony solutions and services to customers.
Announcing the association, Mr. Shashi Arora, CEO-Delhi & NCR, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel said, “We are pleased to be associated with the state-of-the-art T3 terminal, and proud to be the first telecom operator offering basic telephony and mobile services. All passengers, including international travellers, at T3 would benefit from this service as it would enable them to stay connected and enjoy seamless network connectivity at the airport”
Airtel has already partnered with various Domestic and International airports across the country to provide telephony and mobile services to its customers and travellers. Some of the Major Airports where Airtel has its footprint are Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport at Mumbai, Bengaluru International Airport at Bengaluru and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad .
