CII announces "Krishi Vikas 2009"

Confederation of Indian Industry is pleased to announce KRISHI VIKAS 2009- International Exhibition & Conference scheduled to be held between 06-08 November, 2009 at the College of Agriculture, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, under the Chairmanship of Mr B S Khargonkar, Chairman, CII Madhya Pradesh State Council and Executive Director, Force Motors Limited.

Madhya Pradesh is the second largest state in the country, its Agricultural sector contributes almost one third of the GDSP and forms the back bone of the state’s economy.

The state is blessed with a bio-diversity which is advantageous in production of various types of crops. Its Agricultural land is considered as the most fertile land all over Asia. Madhya Pradesh is also now being considered as an ideal destination for Investments as opportunities have opened up for investments in the “Agriculture Export Zones” as well as in the “Food Parks”. These advantages give the State an extra edge in enhancing the quality and quantity of Agricultural Output.

Against this background and keeping in mind the vast potential business opportunities,  CII’s Krishi Vikas 2009, will showcase, under one single roof, the latest new and emerging technologies in the Farm sector, Tractor, Tiller, Seeds, Fertilizer, Horticulture, Greenhouse, Cold Storage & Refrigeration, Dairy Farming, Poultry etc..

The exhibition would help farmers to understand the latest techniques and gain more knowledge in the field of agricultural development and help them in improving the yield of their Agricultural Produce and to bring it in on par with that of the other Progressive States like Maharashtra.

Krishi Vikas 2009, as on date has received an overwhelming response, major companies like Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Crompton Greaves Limited, Farm Implements (India) Pvt Ltd, Kuhn SA, KSB Pumps Limited, Agro Tech International, Intellectual Farming Pvt Ltd, Windsor Exports, Garware Wall Ropes Limited, Mechair Industries, New Era Adhesives & Sealants Pvt Ltd, Pest Control India Pvt Ltd, Nico Organo Manures, Kriti Industries (India)Ltd et., to name a few,  have already confirmed their support and  participation to make Krishi Vikas 2009 a grand success.

The Exhibition has been appropriately scheduled before the start of the Khariff Season there by ensuring good attendance form Progressive Farmers and other Stake Holders in the Agriculture and related sectors. 

The Exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity for companies to exhibit new launches, build brand awareness, expand Farmer database, develop a two-way dialogue with progressive farmers and industry stake holders, conduct market research and make new business contacts.
