Danfoss to reveal revolutionary compressor with 33% higher energy efficiency

The Turbocor compressor offers several advantages over conventional compressors, most significant being outstanding energy efficiency and a totally oil-free operation. Every year, Danfoss supplies compressor technology for approximately 250,000 chillers worldwide. If current technology was substituted by Danfoss Turbocor compressor technology, the saving would be in excess of US$1.5 billion. The offset CO2 based on saved energy would be equivalent to removing the annual emissions of nearly 3 million passenger cars.
