Era Infra bags Rs 223 cr contract from NTPC

Bags contract for Super Thermal Power plant at Mauda, Maharashtra.

Era Infra Engineering Ltd. (BSE script code: 530323 and Script ID: ERAINFRA) through their construction & contracts division has been awarded a Rs 223 cr contract by NTPC for Mauda Super Thermal Power Project, Mauda (2X500 MW), Maharashtra. The project worth Rs 223 cr involves the Main Plant and Offsite Civil Works Package.

The value of this contract is approximately Rs 500 crores if the cost of cement and steel is included. NTPC proposes to complete the project during the Eleventh Plan period. Adhering to this strict time frame, Era Infra will complete the project work within 43 calendar months from the issue of letter of award.

Last month, Era Infra had received a Rs 49.51 crore contract from public-sector power-equipment maker Bhel for engineering-related works at Ukai thermal power station at Surat in Gujarat.
