FUJIFILM launches J27 & J30 digital cameras, pocket-sized dynamos with style & power

FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, Japan, one of the world’s largest photographic solutions company, today announced the launch and availability of two new cameras to join the existing and popular line of J series compacts; the FinePix J27 and J30.

According to Mr. Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, “FUJIFILM’s J range of cameras has been a huge hit with consumers who demand a compact that’s affordable, easy-to-use, and produces great images. Not only do the two new J models tick all these boxes, but they are ultra-stylish too.   At only 20 mm thin, and available black and silver, the J27 and J30 series have been finished with a special double coated laminate to give a beautifully glossy, varnished finish.”

In a first for J series models, the FinePix J27 and J30 feature a Panorama Mode. Get creative and capture those sweeping landscapes or large group shots at weddings.  Panorama Mode works by seamlessly stitching together three consecutive shots to produce one impressive panoramic picture.  It’s that easy.

Super intelligent Scene Recognition Auto has now been rolled out to FUJIFILM’s entry level compacts to offer all consumers the ability to take fantastic photos at the touch of a button. Scene Recognition Auto (SR AUTO) intelligently detects a scene (Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night and Night Portrait) and the camera automatically adjusts the exposure, focus and white balance to reveal perfect shots, regardless of the conditions or subject. With SR AUTO all you have to do is point and shoot.

Creating perfect people pictures is easy with FUJIFILM’s highly-effective Face Detection technology. Use Face Detection to find all the faces in the frame and automatically adjust the focus and exposure to reveal flawless portraits of friends and family. Automatic red-eye removal is deployed to banish devilish red-eyes whilst the photo is being taken.

Both the FinePix J27 and J30 feature FUJIFILM’s Picture Stabilisation mode which ensures that image blur is kept to a minimum – great when shooting fast moving subjects. Additionally, with an ISO sensitivity of up to 3200 (at 3MP) the J series cameras allow you to capture detailed images with low noise in low-light conditions, without the need to employ the flash which can often bleach out subjects unnecessarily.

Sometimes still shots are insufficient to capture those special moments. Using the FinePix J27 and J30’s Movie Mode you can now get really creative and capture your own video clips with sound.
