Hikal wins CIO-100 award

Hikal, the preferred long-term outsourcing partner for leading global life sciences companies today announced that it has been recognized as a recipient of the Agile CIO -100 awards by IDG India’s CIO magazine. CIO magazine selected Hikal for this prestigious award based on its successful implementation of Unified Communications across the organization which has enhanced its operational efficiency, simplified deployment and optimized management. Hikal has been recognized by the Jury as an organization that has implemented the project with agility and the best possible use of technology that ensures appropriate return on investment (ROI).

The CIO100 award recognizes organizations that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT). This year's award theme was "The Agile 100," which recognized IT leaders from leading Indian organizations for their exemplary IT initiatives that helped their organizations stay agile in the turbulent economy last year.

Mr. Falgun Shukla, Sr. General Manager, IT accepted the award on behalf of Hikal at a special function held in Bangalore recently. On receiving this award Mr. Shukla stated “We are pleased to be honoured with this prestigious award for the second time, the first one being awarded in the year 2007. This recognition is a reflection of our constant endeavor to use the latest technology and optimize our existing systems in order to meet increasing customer requirements. Our UCM system for which we won the award has enabled the organization to cut down operational costs and also improved our internal efficiencies.”
