- Enters Georgia – Adds the 3rd country within three years of its entry in the CIS region

KEC International Ltd. (KEC), a global leader in the power transmission EPC business and an RPG group company, has won orders in the Transmission and Cables space worth of Rs 610 crore.
In the Transmission segment, the company has won total orders of Rs 487 crore for turnkey transmission lines in the Georgia, South Africa, Zambia, Philippines and the UAE.
The company has added one more country to its already illustrious list of 44 countries where it has its footprints, by securing orders from Georgia. The order is for turnkey construction of 400 kV, 500 kV S/C transmission lines. Project duration is 18 (400kV) & 24 (500 kV) months. Total order value is Rs 326 crore.
The company has consolidated its presence in the South African (SADC) region by re-entering Zambia and securing another order from South Africa. Total order value is Rs 66 crore. Last year, the company had secured orders from Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa.
The company has re-entered the Far East Asia region after a decade by securing order from Philippines worth Rs 42 crore. The company is looking to expand its presence in this region.
In the Cables segment, the company has won orders for supply of Low Tension, High Tension and Extra High Voltage Power Cables worth Rs 123 crores from various customers
