Tharuma Rajah takes over as Managing Director, Hay Group India

The global management consultancy Hay Group today announced a change in leadership for its Indian operations. Tharuma Rajah, Managing Director for Hay Group’s South East Asia operations will take over as Managing Director for Hay Group India in addition to his current responsibilities. He replaces Dr. Srini Srinivasan, current Managing Director of Hay Group India, who is leaving to explore other opportunities.

“Having being involved with the Indian operations right from the inception, I am very excited to get the opportunity to work with Indian clients once again. We have a unique opportunity in India to contribute to projects of national importance through our thought leadership and cutting edge research,” said Mr. Rajah.

Mr. Rajah is a shareholder of Hay Group and is also a member of its ownership board. In addition to global clients he has also been an advisor to the top leadership at Indian clients He led the seminal Indian CEO research study sponsored by Bharat Petroleum under the aegis  of India’s Public Enterprises Selection Board and co-authored the book “The Indian CEO : a Portrait of Excellence “ published in 2007 . He has more than 30 years of experience on issues concerning strategy, governance and leadership for clients in more than 30 countries across the globe.
