Lexmark Appoints Shailendra Aragula as Country Manager for India

Lexmark International (India) Private Limited today announces the appointment of Shailendra Aragula as Country Manager for India. Aragula will oversee the company’s Indian operations and will play an instrumental role in strengthening the company’s presence through an aggressive growth strategy. He brings to his role extensive experience in the IT industry, especially in the areas of business development and channel partner management.

Companies are keen to adopt solutions that offer low power consumption, duplex printing and high-yield cartridges for business competitiveness and cost efficiency, and Lexmark is in a good position to offer the right solution at the right price,” said Chin Hon-Cheng, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Lexmark International. “We are confident that Shailendra’s experience in the India market will further propel Lexmark’s success in both the enterprise as well as SMB segments.” 

Aragula will be primarily responsible for the overall management of sales and marketing operations in India. He will establish Lexmark's presence in the Indian market through the development of strategic channel relationships as well as through the implementation of growth strategies to deepen Lexmark’s footprint in the Indian market. He will report to Chin Hon-Cheng, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Lexmark International.

Aragula has over 26 years of experience in the IT industry, and has held leadership positions with HCL-HP, Datacraft, Hewlett-Packard and Siemens. Prior to joining Lexmark, he was Executive Vice President for Business Development at Semantic Defence.
