MMD Holds All India Premium Channel Partners Meet

MMD, the leading technology company and brand license holder for Philips Monitors, today announced the successful completion of its “All India Premium Channel Partner Meet” that was held from April 27 2011 to May 2, 2011. The channel meet was aimed at launching MMD’s operations in India covering key partners and markets in the North (New Delhi), South (Chennai), East (Kokata) and West (Mumbai).

The channel partners meet was aimed at announcing the starting of MMD India operations for marketing and sales of Philips LCD & LED monitors in the key markets. The event also aimed at strengthening the relationship with its partners in these cities.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gautam Ghosh, Country Director, MMD India said, “This initiative reaches out to our channel partners in metro cities. The programme was aimed at educating and informing our potential partners about Philips monitors so that we can jointly exploit more avenues and take MMD to the next level of growth. We also hope to have tie-ups with more retailers and expand our base in these cities”.

Attended by around 350 partners, event also showcased the launch of Philips Blade – possibly the slimmest monitor in India, along with Philips new range of monitors. Moreover, product demonstration and other initiatives such as pre-sales and post sales support like toll free number and free SMS, was also announced.

This meet was a great opportunity to share our business plans, product roadmap, growth trigger points and global expertise with the participants present in the meet.
