Rajasthan CM inaugurates BOP Combined Cycle Power Project

The Balance of Plant (BOP Pkg) being developed by SPML Infra Limited for 160 MW combined Cycle Power Project, Stage - III, Ramgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, was inaugurated by Shri. Ashok Gehlot, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

SPML Infra Limited (formerly Subhash Projects And Marketing Ltd)  one of India’s leading infrastructure companies, having focus in water management, environment and power won the order for this prestigious project awarded by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL), on 31 March 2010. The value of the project is pegged at Rs. 210 crore.

Commenting on the occasion of the inauguration, Mr. Rishabh Sethi, Chief Operating Officer, SPML, said “This new project underpins the fact that we are one of the preferred partners in the domain of Balance of plant projects. This project is a very prestigious initiative of the Rajasthan Government, which has won accolades for spearheading these developmental projects in the state. With the shortfall that our nation faces in energy, the business opportunities in this sector are substantial and SPML is creating a niche for itself in the field.”
