Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) today announced the appointment of Sandeep Jain who joins the Firm’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) division as a Private Wealth Advisor in Mumbai. Mr. Jain joins the Firm from Ambit Capital where he was the Director and Head of Private Client Group.

Mr. Jain has over sixteen years of experience in capital markets and stock broking and over four years in merchant banking. In his diverse experience in capital markets, one of his key areas of focus included developing innovative investment products tailored for high net worth individuals. At Ambit Capital, Mr. Jain led a team of over twenty Private Wealth Advisors and managed an AUM of US$800 million.
Mr. Jain also worked at Anagram Stockbroking Limited and Sharekhan Limited. He has a Post Graduate degree in Business Administration from Pune University.
Last month, Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management hired Prashant Shah and Vedukumar Prasanna from Kotak Securities and Tarun Chadda from HSBC Investsmart. These recent hires strengthened PWM’s equities capabilities.
