Strontium Technology announced its plans to grow and strengthen its presence in India by starting 3 more regional offices in Bangalore, Calcutta and Mumbai. Since opening its new branch office in New Delhi, Strontium has significantly increased its work force in India and continues to recruit. It has a total of 54 service centers across India.
Mr Vivian Singh, Director and Co-Founder of Strontium Technology, said at a Press Conference in New Delhi,"We are committed to the emerging markets of India, Brazil, Indonesia, China and South Africa. At the Conference, Strontium also announced the winners of Strontium SMS Star Contest. The contest ran for 7 monthson purchase of Strontium’s USB drives. A Chevrolet Beat car, Hero Honda CBZ, Sony LCD TV, Ray Ban glasses, I Phones, MacBooks, Digital Cameras, IPods, mobile phones, Sony PS2 and Wrist Watches were also won by people from all over India. Also at the event, Strontium launched the world’s fastest Solid State Drives as their new Matrix series. The newSATA-III SSD is based on leading-edge 25nm NAND flash memory and Marvell controller. It is targeted for corporate IT or PC enthusiasts who would like a substantial performance boost over conventional mechanical hard disk drives. It is available in 128GB capacity with read and write speeds of 415MBps and 175MBps respectively.
