The Loot, India’s leading multi-brand discount store has tied up with Bhavan’s Centre for Inter-Disciplinary Studies (BCIDS) under leadership of S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research - SPJIMR to help create career paths for all its employees.
The Loot that has been in existence for over 5 years now & has over 500 employees pan India. Looking at the current competition and requirements in the corporate world, The Loot has decided to offer all its employees an opportunity to earn and learn at the same time. To facilitate this, The Loot has tied up with BCIDS under the leadership of SPJIMR to educate all its employees in various programmes across the retail sector. This tie-up will not only allow The Loot employees to work but will also allow them to learn from programmes in Management Development and Retail Management.
This facility is open to all at The Loot and by doing this The Loot wants to develop managerial competence and enhance the skills of its employees across all levels.
When asked about this tie-up, Mr. Jay Gupta-MD, The Loot said “This whole experience will help employees grow and understand the business better. At the end of this tie-up we will have trained and qualified staffs which will eventually help us do more quality work and will help us reach our goals. “The LOOT” is a multi-brand discount store, offering customers a wide range of products in apparels, footwear & accessories for men, women and kids with discounts ranging between 25% -60% – throughout the year. The store retails brands like Reebok, Puma, Levis, Red Tape, Lee, Wrangler, Spykar, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Eccentrics, Ruff, Gini & Jony, Lilliput, Killer, Bus Stop, Indian Terrain and more 100 brands. The Loot and Mr Jay Gupta have won 11 major awards since 2009. A few of them are “Critic’s choice for Pioneering Effort in Retail Concept Creation” award at the Images Fashion Awards 2009.
