Usher Agro becomes the largest processor of Par Boiled Rice

• Largest production and processing capacity of Par Boiled Rice increased to 4,50,000 MTPA
• Total Rice Milling Capacity at the Chhata, Mathura  increased to 5,43,600 MTPA
• Additional expanded capacity of 2,91,600 MTPA

Usher Agro Ltd. (BSE code: 532765) (NSE: USHERAGRO) one of the largest rice millers in India, has reported a capacity increase in its rice milling facilities at Chhata, Mathura. With the additional expanded capacity of 2,91,600 MTPA, w.e.f 28 March 2011, the total operational and installed Rice Milling Capacity of the Company has now increased to 5,43,600 MTPA.

Out of the said total Rice Milling Capacity, the Company has increased the capacity to process and produce Par Boiled Rice to 4,50,000 MTPA, which is one of the largest in the country.

This increased production capacity is expected to have a positive bearing on the top line and the profitability of the company.

The Managing Director, Mr. Vinod Kumar Chaturvedi, Usher Agro Ltd. commenting on the increased capacity said, “We have achieved one of the largest and fastest expansion plans in this industry at one single location. Our machinery order was the largest one time order placed with the supplier. We are extremely proud of our achievement as with this increased production and processing capacity, we are now the largest producer and processor in the country”.
