'201 BSF troopers injured in attacks at Indo-Bangla border'

Two Border Security Force personnel were also killed at this frontier during the same period.

While in 2011, 147 BSF personnel were injured and one was killed, 54 troopers were injured and one was killed during 2012 (upto April), Minister of State for Home M Ramachandran told Lok Sabha in a written reply.

The total number of BSF personnel injured was recorded at 201.

"The issue has been raised by the government in various meetings with the government of Bangladesh at different levels," Ramachandran said.
