Maoist shot dead in encounter

"One Maoist was killed in a 30-minute encounter and his body was taken away by the ultras," Superintendent of Police Kranti Kumar told reporters here.

A grenade, six detonators, 51 rounds of ammunition and a pistol were recovered from the spot, he said.
