About 1.4 kg of the contraband was found in an unclaimed bag lying in private bus near a college in Rajgarh yesterday, Sirmaur ASP, Bhagat Singh Thakur told PTI today.
The owner of the bag could not be traced, he said, adding that the passengers, driver and conductor were questioned.
A case was registered against unknown persons under the NDPS Act, he said.
In another case, police arrested a man named Hemant Negi, a resident of Chopal in Shimla, for possession of 380 gram of the banned substance while passing through Kangu Jubdi village in Rajgarh, the ASP said.
