"One of the persons undergoing treatment succumbed to the injuries. Others were rescued from debris and admitted to local civil hospital for medical aid," they said.
The fire and police official cordoned off the mall premises, where the incident took place.
Recently, a leading pizza chain had opened its outlet in the mall and its extended elevation portion collapsed, officials said.
