10-yr-old girl drowns in water reservoir

A 10-year-old girl drowned in a water reservoir here today after accidentally falling into it, police said.
The incident took place near "Kachi Basti" here in the morning.
The girl, Kiran, was immediately taken out of the reservoir by residents who rushed there after hearing her cries.
She was taken to a government hospital, but was declared dead, they said.
