11 held with 500 stolen mobile phone sets in Munger

Eleven persons were arrested with 500 stolen mobile phone sets worth Rs ten lakh from Badi Bazar area under Kotwali police station of Bihar's Munger district late yesterday night, the police today said.
Superintendent of Police Ashish Bharti said acting on a tip off, the police raided a rest house located in Badi Bazar locality and seized 500 mobile phone sets.
Bharti said a group of persons hailing from districts of Bhagalpur, Munger and Begusarai used to sell mobile phone sets stolen from Delhi and added the arrested persons have been sent to jail.
