The Punjab Police today arrested 11 members of the Devinder Bambiha gang and seized 17 weapons from their possession, an official said.
The arrested accused were involved in several cases of murder, attempt to murder, snatching of vehicles, drug smuggling, dealing in illegal weapons besides armed robberies and theft, IGP (Intelligence) Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh said here.
They were identified as Aman Kumar, Yadwinder Singh, Varinderpal Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Rajat Kumar, Karan Mangla, Sukha, Palwinder Singh, Sumit Bajaj, Alam Bhattal and Lakhwinder Singh.
The official said nine pistols, five revolvers, one rifle and 2 guns were seized from their possession.
Besides, the police have also seized three cars from their possession.
All the accused persons were produced before a local court which remanded them to six-day police custody, he said.
